VNTANA List Presets
Browse the optimization presets your VNTANA workspace actually offers
- credentials
- preset_uuids
- preset_names
VNTANAListPresets is the quietest node in this pack: it takes your credentials, optionally a workspace_uuid, and returns two lists - preset_uuids and preset_names - showing the optimization presets configured for a workspace. Think of it as a read-only catalog of what your VNTANA workspace is capable of, straight inside your graph.
What it's for
Where VNTANAListPipelines finds the pipeline your model upload runs through, this node lists the named presets - the ready-made optimization configurations (web, mobile, high-quality, and so on) that a workspace offers. The optional workspace_uuid input has a useful tooltip: it "uses default if empty," so you can scope to a specific workspace or let it fall back to whatever default_workspace_uuid you set on the Credentials node. Convenient, and it means this is the one List node in the family that respects your default workspace.
Outputs are preset_uuids and preset_names, parallel lists by position, same pattern as the other List nodes.
The honest part: it's currently a looker, not a feeder
Here's the thing nobody flags: nothing in this pack consumes a preset UUID yet. The underlying API client has a preset_uuid parameter on product creation, but VNTANAUpload3DModel - the node you'd expect to take a preset - doesn't expose it in this version; it only takes pipeline_uuid and the optimization_preset dropdown (which, as covered in that node's article, sends the same AUTO request regardless of label). So today, this node is genuinely read-only: you run it to see what presets exist in a workspace, then... that's kind of it, unless you're scripting against the API yourself.
That doesn't make it useless. It's the honest way to answer "what does my workspace support?" without poking at the dashboard, and it's clearly a signpost - the API plumbing exists for preset-based uploads, so a future version of the pack almost certainly wires this output into the upload flow. If you're building workflows now and see a preset_uuids output with nowhere to plug it in, you're not doing anything wrong; you're just ahead of the pack.
Install
Standard for the family:
cd ComfyUI/custom_nodes
git clone https://github.com/VNTANA-3D/vntana-comfyui-node
cd vntana-comfyui-node
pip install -e .
Restart ComfyUI, or grab it from ComfyUI Manager under "vntana-comfyui-node".
Troubleshooting
- Empty lists - the workspace has no presets configured, or the
workspace_uuidyou passed points somewhere without any. Try leaving it empty to use your default. - Nothing to connect it to - expected, see above. It's a discovery node with consumers coming.
Keep it for reconnaissance. If you need a preset's UUID for something, this is where you read it - and if the pack grows a preset-aware upload, this node is already the front end for it.
