cxSliderBank - Float
A rack of float sliders for tuning related strengths together

Some tuning problems are whole numbers; some are a spread of floats that only make sense relative to each other. cxSliderBankFloat is the floating-point version of the pack's slider bank: up to eight stacked sliders in one node, each emitting its own FLOAT value, for when you're juggling a batch of strengths and weights that want to live side by side.
The canonical use case is per-item LoRA or region weights - five adapters, each with a strength you're nudging, and you want to see them all at once and tweak them in order. You could lay out five single float sliders; this node keeps the group intact and labeled.
How it works
Identical mechanics to the integer bank, with the types swapped. The single values input is a STRING of JSON the UI writes for you:
{"s1":0.0,"s2":0.0,"s3":0.0,"s4":0.0,"s5":0.0,"s6":0.0,"s7":0.0,"s8":0.0}
Python parses it and returns eight FLOAT outputs, OUT_1 through OUT_8. You never touch the JSON - the custom widget handles it.
Properties panel controls:
- sliderCount - rows shown, 1 to 8.
- min / max / step / snap - shared bounds; same Shift/Ctrl drag modifiers as the single sliders.
- labels - comma-separated names for the rows.
- padding - decimal display format (like
"0.000"), so your 0.742 reads cleanly.
And yes, the same gotcha as the int bank: unused rows still output 0.0. Don't wire a row you're not using unless feeding a literal zero is the plan.
Install
Same pack, same story:
cd ComfyUI/custom_nodes
git clone https://github.com/VirusShell/comfyui-cx_sliders.git comfyui_cxslider
Restart ComfyUI, or grab it via ComfyUI Manager (cx Sliders). No model files, no pip requirements - it's UI code, and it wants ComfyUI 0.3.75+.
Troubleshooting
- The rack shows one slider, not a JSON string - good, that means the widget loaded. If you do see raw JSON, the frontend is stale; hard-refresh.
- Values snap too coarsely - shared
stepdefaults to fine (0.001), but if you raised it, Shift-drag bypasses snap. - Row 6's wire carries 0.0 you didn't set - unused outputs. Either use it or don't connect it.
