AnyAngleReferenceReadT8 Has No Outputs, and That's the Entire Point

AnyAngleReferenceReadT8 has no outputs. Not "outputs you overlooked" - the schema declares outputs=[] and flags the thing as an output node. If you went looking for where to plug it in and came up empty, that's the correct reading: it isn't a building block. It's the far end of a temporary wire that AnyAngle Studio builds, runs once, and throws away.

Why a node like this exists at all

AnyAngle Studio - the big node in this pack - is a browser app bolted onto ComfyUI: 3D camera widget, reference library, pose editor. All of that runs in your browser, and it constantly needs values that live in your graph. A photo on a Load Image link. A text node's output. A combo setting. ComfyUI gives a web extension no supported way to ask "what's on the other end of this link?"

So the pack cheats, cleanly. When you click a read button, the frontend walks the executable graph upstream of that input, builds a throwaway API prompt out of your upstream chain plus one extra terminal node with a UUID id, POSTs it to /prompt, polls /history/<id>, and reads the value out of that node's ui payload.

AnyAngleReferenceReadT8 is that terminal node for IMAGE inputs. The ui payload is the whole trick: it's the only channel ComfyUI preserves from a custom node, through execution history, back to the frontend. There is no socket that reaches a JavaScript panel, so the value leaves through a side door - which is why the node has no outputs and is marked as a graph terminal.

What it does with your images

One input, images (IMAGE, required). It loops the entire batch, writes every frame to a PNG under ComfyUI/input/anyangle_studio/, preserving alpha when the tensor carries a fourth channel, and emits a single UI record: first asset, full list, batchCount.

In the Studio's reference panel that reads as "linked actor_reference_2, 4 frames, currently showing frame 1". Frame one is the default, and when a batch is larger than one you also get a split batch into separate materials action. That's the bit that earns its keep for Qwen Image 2.1 work: one four-frame batch becomes four library entries, each with its own purpose - identity, clothing, accessory, scene, style - each bound to a different person or prop. Identical images are only encoded once.

The inputs and outputs that matter

images, and nothing else. Wire your images into the Studio node's reference_image or one of the actor_reference_N inputs, click read, and the frames land in the library. There is no output to connect, and nothing to build downstream.

    Install

AnyAngle Studio isn't on the Manager's default path in every setup, so the git route is the reliable one:

    cd ComfyUI/custom_nodes
    git clone https://github.com/T8mars/Comfyui-Qwen-Image-2.1-MultiAngle-T8.git ComfyUI-AnyAngle-Studio-T8
    cd ComfyUI-AnyAngle-Studio-T8
    python -m pip install -r requirements.txt # onnxruntime, opencv-python-headless, huggingface_hub
    python install_assets.py --download-lora
    python install_reconstruction.py            # ~3.78 GB, only if you want image -> 3D

Keep that dot-free folder name. If the clone directory contains 2.1, the current frontend truncates the node's source badge at the dot and shows Comfyui-Qwen-Image-2, which reads like a broken install and isn't. Then restart ComfyUI and hard-refresh the browser (Ctrl+F5); the Studio title should say T8 · v1.6.6. The pack wants a ComfyUI build with the Qwen Image 2.1 native nodes plus WebGL hardware acceleration in your browser.

    Where people get burned

Clicking read executes your graph. The probe runs the real upstream subgraph as a queued job - every node feeding that link. A Load Image is fine. Hang the reader off the tail of a 40-step sampling chain and you pay for that chain every single time you click. The frontend also demands every upstream node be executable, so a muted or broken node upstream gets you "参考图上游节点不可执行,请检查连线" instead of a read.

References are files, not links. Everything is snapshotted into ComfyUI/input/anyangle_studio/. Move the workflow to a machine without those assets and the editor opens a blank scene.

Shrink the batch and generation stops. A library item remembers its frame index; a material pointing at frame 5 of a batch that's now three frames deep is reported missing at run time. Re-read, or tell the Studio to use the saved version.

Don't place it by hand. The Studio injects it into its own temporary prompt. A copy you drop on the canvas just sits there and does nothing.

    The wider picture

Camera control for Qwen's edit models started as a LoRA that turned framing into a slider - dx8152's Multiple-Angles on Qwen-Image-Edit-2509, then fal's 2511 version, with a purpose-built camera control node following within weeks. This pack is the Qwen Image 2.1 generation of that idea, and its reference library is the part that grew: instead of one image in, one angle out, you're assigning roles across several references. That library is what AnyAngleReferenceReadT8 feeds, and why a batch of frames matters at all.
