RE-ROUTE is the most honest node in this pack. Its description is literally "Pass all data because the default is broken on connection." That's not marketing, that's a bug report written as a node. Back when Jovimetrix's dynamic ROUTE node misbehaved on some ComfyUI versions - connections not registering, outputs not appearing - the author shipped a dead-simple fallback: one input, one output, everything passes through untouched.

That's all it does. πŸ“₯ in, πŸ“€ out, any data type, and the output is a list so it plays nicely with Jovimetrix's batch-first philosophy. There's no configuration, no settings, no surprises. It's a Reroute in everything but name - if you needed to get data from point A to point B without ComfyUI's stock reroute fighting you, this was the workaround you reached for.

The important context is that this is a legacy node, and its whole reason to exist has largely evaporated. Modern ROUTE (JOV) handles dynamic connections properly, and ComfyUI's own reroute and bus systems have gotten dramatically better. If you loaded an old workflow and this node comes up missing, it's part of Jovimetrix's messy v2.0 history: the pack split into multiple Jovi_* packages and dropped various nodes, with the README warning not to update past 1.7.48 if you rely on the ones that left. RE-ROUTE isn't in current builds - you'd either pin an old version or, more sensibly, just use a stock Reroute and move on.

Honestly, if you found this page by googling, you're probably one of two people: someone whose old workflow references it (swap in Reroute, done), or someone browsing the JOV pack and wondering what this do-nothing node was for. Either way, there's not much to learn here. It's a pass-through.

If you do want it, it installs with the whole pack:

cd ComfyUI/custom_nodes
git clone https://github.com/Amorano/Jovimetrix.git
pip install -r Jovimetrix/requirements.txt

or search "Jovimetrix" in ComfyUI Manager. Dependencies are the pack-standard numpy/opencv/Pillow/matplotlib plus the cozy-comfyui helpers - nothing heavy, no models. Just set your expectations: this one's a museum piece, useful mainly as a reminder that even good packs have growing pains.
