Prompt lists are the cheapest form of iteration there is. One prompt, one seed, one image, repeat forty times by hand, is how most people burn an evening; the alternative is pasting the whole dump into one text box and letting the queue do the walking.

PROMPT ROTATE is that: a big multiline text box, a parser, and two different ways to turn your dump into forty images.

Two ways to run it, and they're genuinely different

The list path. prompt is a list output - the socket with the nine dots on it. Wire it into your text encode, change nothing else, and hit the normal Queue button. ComfyUI iterates a list input, running the graph once per element, so one queue produces one image per prompt. index and filename come out as lists alongside it, which is how you get pawgts_01.png, pawgts_02.png and so on without touching anything.

The QUEUE ALL path. Set run to QUEUE ALL and the node's browser extension takes over: it snapshots the whole graph through app.graphToPrompt(), clones that snapshot once per prompt, drops each prompt into that clone, and enqueues the lot via the queue API. You get N jobs sitting in the queue in order, and you can start doing something else. That's why the node has to be wired into the graph even in this mode - if it isn't, you get a "wire this node into the graph" toast instead of jobs, because there's nothing to clone.

run fires immediately and snaps back to idle, so a stray click can't queue anything twice. COUNT parses your dump and tells you how many prompts it found, which is the five-second sanity check I'd run before any 40-job batch.

Splitting, seeds, filenames

split_mode decides how your paste gets cut up. auto is the sensible default and reads numbered lists first, then rule lines (---), then blank-line blocks, then single lines - and only treats lines as prompts if every line is longer than about 24 characters, which stops it shattering a wrapped paragraph. You can force numbered, blank lines or one per line. The parser exists twice, in Python for the outputs and in JavaScript for the queueing, so COUNT and what you actually queue agree.

Seeds are the part people miss. seed is a list - start_seed, start_seed + 1, and so on - so wire it into your sampler and every prompt in the dump gets a different seed. And bump_graph_seeds (default on) does something different again: on the QUEUE ALL path it adds +i to every seed and noise_seed already in the graph, per job, so forty cloned jobs don't all render the same image with different text. Turn it off when you want that - same seed, forty prompts is a legitimate comparison test.

file_prefix is just string concatenation: prefix plus a two-digit index. prompt_index is 1-based, used by the single-pick path; wrap decides whether an index past the end wraps around or clamps to the last prompt.

Outputs: prompt, index and seed and filename as lists, total as a single integer. Handy to have index and total on a preview so you can actually tell which of the forty you're looking at.

One thing to know before you look at the node: the prompts box ships pre-filled with the author's own 40-prompt example dump - adult-oriented, for a specific dataset, with the matching pawgts_ filename prefix. It's a demonstration of the format, not a suggestion. Paste yours over it.

Restart and hard-refresh the browser - the QUEUE ALL button, the COUNT toast and the right-click "Queue All Prompts" entry are a frontend extension, and without the refresh they simply aren't there. Nothing to download, no key, no LLM. aiohttp is the pack's only dependency.

Where people get burned

The count is wrong. Almost always split_mode. An unnumbered dump separated by single newlines only splits if every line is long enough; otherwise the whole thing is treated as one prompt. Set numbered and number them yourself.

Double-queued batches. A 40-prompt dump queued twice is 80 jobs. The batch enqueues prompt by prompt, so if something fails partway you get a toast reading "STOPPED AT 17/40" - read it, because the jobs already queued are still there.

Backend path vs browser path confusion. QUEUE ALL needs the browser session; the list-socket path doesn't. If you're driving ComfyUI from the API or a script, wire the list and queue once - that's the route that survives without a frontend.

Same image forty times. That's bump_graph_seeds off, or a seed list that never got wired to the sampler.
