The one-job node Krea 2 owners kept needing
Krea 2 is the best base model the open ecosystem got in 2026, and it has a personality flaw: it has opinions about your prompt. Ask for two cups, one red and one blue, on a windowsill in morning light, and you get a beautiful picture that is approximately that. Ask for something the alignment pass dislikes - a body, an expression, a violent clause - and the clause quietly evaporates instead of the image being blocked.
Both usual workarounds cost you. The conditioning rebalance node strips refusals but "slightly degrade[s] character knowledge and prompt adherence", and even the uncensor-LoRA route leaves the model agreeing with you only loosely.
Krea2 Enhancer Pixaroma is a single-purpose fix: it makes a Krea 2 model lean harder on the text you actually typed. One input, one output, one number to tune. If your renders are 80% of what you asked for, this is the node that goes after the other 20%.
How it works (a nudge, not a prompt rewrite)
Krea 2's txtfusion transformer fuses twelve text-encoder taps - layers 2, 5, 8, 11, 14, 17, 20, 23, 26, 29, 32, 35, each 2560 wide - into one text stream. During sampling this node's wrapper runs that fusion twice: once as usual, and once with the taps scaled up by a fixed 24-chunk gain profile times a global multiplier, both grown by your strength. It keeps the difference between the two passes and caps it per text token at 0.75 of that token's own size, so the push is bounded and can't run away.
So it changes conditioning during sampling and nothing else. No file on disk changes, nothing downloads, and it works on a clone of the model - which is why flipping enabled off gives you a clean A/B on the same seed.
Provenance matters here. This is a straight port of ComfyUI-Krea2T-Enhancer by capitan01R (MIT), which its author deleted from GitHub, the Registry and Civitai in October 2026. The math is unchanged, so images match the original, and the internal keys are namespaced so both can coexist.
Inputs and outputs that matter
model- your Krea 2 checkpoint after any LoRA loaders. Wire the output onward into the KSampler.enabled- on by default. Turn it off and the model passes through untouched, so you can compare.strength- 0 to 2, default 0.5. Zero is a no-op, and the author's own workflows run 0.1 to 0.5. High values look overcooked and start rearranging logos and text.
The single output is model, and it's always safe to wire: off, at zero, or on a model that isn't Krea 2, it hands your model back unchanged. Put it between the loaders and the sampler; chaining it twice is handled, because it drops its own previous wrapper before adding another.
Install
It ships inside ComfyUI-Pixaroma, a pack that otherwise exists to make ComfyUI nicer to use - better loaders, prompt boxes, canvas tools - from the Pixaroma YouTube channel (122K subscribers, free ComfyUI course). MIT, and the pack's only dependency is imageio-ffmpeg.
Windows Easy-Install builds already contain it. Otherwise ComfyUI Manager, search Pixaroma - but the Manager may only offer 1.4.144, because the Comfy Registry flagged newer versions with no reason given. The nodes are fine; for the current build, use git:
cd ComfyUI/custom_nodes
git clone https://github.com/pixaroma/ComfyUI-Pixaroma.git
Restart ComfyUI, then press Ctrl+Shift+R in the browser. That hard refresh isn't optional - skip it and you're looking at the previous build of the node, wondering why it's blank. Then double-click the canvas and type Krea2. The pack's Krea LoRA Converter Pixaroma handles the other Krea 2 annoyance: LoRAs trained on fal.ai.
Where people get burned
It does nothing, and you assume it's broken. It checks the model for the Krea 2 text layout (txtfusion, twelve 2560-wide taps) and passes anything else straight through - no error, no warning. A Flux, Z-Image or SDXL model gets zero effect by design, and so does a Krea 2 finetune that rebuilt the architecture.
Too much strength. Past 1.0 you stop looking at Krea 2 and start looking at a poster with the contrast cranked. Start at 0.25, look, then decide.
It breaks after a ComfyUI update. Wrapper nodes reach into ComfyUI's model patching internals, and core moves them. The original Krea2T Enhancer died exactly this way: krea2t_enhancer_wrapper() takes from 4 to 6 positional arguments but 7 were given. That's the failure class, not a bug here - update the pack and read the terminal, not the browser error box.
Issues go to Discord, not GitHub. GitLab and GitHub issues are closed by design; everything lands in #pixaroma-nodes. Alt+H opens the pack's searchable help in-app.
Inputs (3)
| Name | Type | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| model | MODEL | The Krea 2 model, after any LoRA loaders. Any other model passes through unchanged. | |
| enabled | BOOLEAN | true | Off = the model passes through untouched, so you can compare with and without. |
| strength | FLOAT | 0.500–2 | How hard the model leans on the prompt. 0 = no change. Our workflows use 0.1 to 0.5. High values can look overcooked or change logos and text. |
Outputs (1)
| Name | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| model | MODEL | The model with the enhancer attached. Unchanged when it is off, at strength 0, or on a model that is not Krea 2. Connect it to the sampler. |
