♻🎨📝 List Looper (Text Generator Styles)

The style-focused entry in Bjornulf's List Looper family. Where the Scene version loops through locations and the Character version loops through faces and bodies, this one loops through the feel of the image - artistic style, color palette, lighting type, mood, composition. Same subject, same setting, fifteen different visual treatments - useful if you're trying to figure out which mood actually sells a concept before you commit to it.

What's in the categories

artistic_style, color_palette, lighting_type, mood, and composition each carry 15 options apiece (16 counting the ALL entry). You'll see words like vibrant, muted, monochromatic, pastel, dark and moody, high contrast, neon, and vintage repeat across a couple of these categories - worth knowing going in: mood and composition currently ship with the exact same word list (peaceful, mysterious, dramatic, romantic, melancholic...), which reads like the pack's composition category borrowed its dictionary from mood rather than getting its own distinct set of composition-specific terms (rule of thirds, symmetrical, leading lines, that kind of thing). Given how fast this pack ships changes, that's the sort of thing that could get its own vocabulary in a future update - for now, treat composition here as another mood dial rather than a true layout control.

How it works

Same mechanism as every other List Looper node: SELECTION chooses which of the five categories is live, that category's dropdown offers a single value or ALL (N), and picking ALL turns the output into a list - which ComfyUI's execution engine then loops the rest of your graph over automatically, once per item. Output is a text-fragment list (* type) meant to combine into your main prompt.

Installing it

Part of the standard Bjornulf_custom_nodes install: ComfyUI Manager (search the pack title) or manual clone - cd ComfyUI/custom_nodes && git clone https://github.com/justUmen/Bjornulf_custom_nodes, restart. Nothing extra needed for this specific node; it's bundled prompt-fragment data, no model or API dependency.

Common issues & troubleshooting

With five categories at 15 options each, an ALL loop here is a manageable size compared to some of this pack's other List Loopers (the Character and Scene versions can run into the hundreds) - but it's still 15 full generations per click, so don't fire it off mid-test unless you mean to.

As with the rest of the family, only the category set in SELECTION is active for that run - swapping values in an unselected category's dropdown does nothing until you point SELECTION at it. If your style loop isn't producing the variety you expect, that's the first thing to check.

Given the overlap between mood and composition noted above, don't rely on this node alone if you specifically need compositional variation (framing, camera geometry, rule-of-thirds placement) - you'll get mood-adjacent words twice rather than genuine layout instructions. Combine it with camera-angle or shot-type fragments from the plain List Looper node if actual framing variety is what you're after.
