msch-comfyui-nodes
MSCH Nodes: one install for 35 creative ComfyUI nodes, theme and editor bridge. Effects, slideshows, typography, lyrics and H3 sequencing.
Nodes (35)
Matrix rain, green phosphor and binary art — straight from your footage, no green screen needed
EdgeASCII's strokes follow the image, not a text grid
The HUD look, no After Effects required
Make pasted lyrics land on the right words, not just the right song
Turn your music video into a living word grid — and keep the singer visible underneath
Karaoke captions that actually match the song — bilingual, timed, and tasteful
The color knob for your lyric mosaic — pick the palette, keep the vibe
Give it a song, get back the exact moments to cut on — and a picture to prove it found them
Pick the folder, hit go, get an MP4 with a soundtrack
Storyboard the whole video before you render a single frame — then edit it and hand it to the renderer
Cut a slideshow VIDEO back into frames you can actually edit
Get your photos into the MSCH slideshow without wrecking their aspect ratios
Where the shot plan finally becomes an MP4
Stop the Ken Burns pan from cutting heads off
Kinetic title cards with real alpha, from a ComfyUI node that isn't AI at all
The node where MiniMax H3 actually makes your music video
Prototype a music video tiny, then render it big — all on your own GPU
The node that turns a song into a beat-snapped shot list
Load your song as audio you can actually sync to
A one-input node that saves you from wasting a GPU render on the wrong cut
Where your sampled shots stop being latents and become the actual video
Where your prompt schedule becomes actual H3 shots — conditioning, references and timing in one place
Animate ASCII strokes on a photo, or restyle real video
Your photo as forty thousand dancing dots — the video version of that pointillism trend
The boring front door to the Puppet Face pack (and why its video loader is the part that matters)
Landmarks on a face plus a grab-ring pointer that tracks it
The unglamorous MP4 saver that finishes every PuppetFace chain
Thermal, night vision, HUD and 57 more looks stacked eight deep — a scan-effect station in one node
Slideshow Director edits your image batch into a film
Edit the timeline as JSON, render motion on the GPU
Metablob Turns a Still Into Animated Halftone Goo — on CPU, No Models
SynkitTracker Draws the HUD Tracking Boxes — Without Object Detection
When your video's past should show up inside the frame
The TimeSlice distortion without the transition
Warp-blend two clips together with bands, blocks or a slit-scan seam
MSCH Nodes
One install. All 35 nodes. Video effects, slideshows, typography, lyric synchronization and MiniMax H3 sequencing, plus the MSCH theme and editor bridge.
Showcase: videos and workflows · Every node explained · Migrate from the separate packs
Install MSCH Nodes once. Future nodes and improvements arrive through updates to this same pack. Components are organized internally; they do not need separate installations.
Installation
In ComfyUI Manager, search for MSCH Nodes / msch-comfyui-nodes. The unified Registry submission is tracked in PUBLISHING.md. If the catalog has not indexed it yet, use Manager's Git URL installation with:
https://github.com/mariobilly/msch-comfyui-nodes
Or clone it into ComfyUI/custom_nodes:
git clone https://github.com/mariobilly/msch-comfyui-nodes.git
Install requirements with the same Python used by ComfyUI, then restart ComfyUI and refresh the browser:
python -m pip install -r ComfyUI/custom_nodes/msch-comfyui-nodes/requirements.txt
For Windows portable, run this from ComfyUI_windows_portable:
.\python_embeded\python.exe -m pip install -r .\ComfyUI\custom_nodes\msch-comfyui-nodes\requirements.txt
Already installed the old separate MSCH packs? Follow MIGRATION.md to switch without duplicate nodes. Existing node IDs and workflow connections are preserved.
Optional features
- Typort rendering: install
requirements-typort.txt, then runpython -m playwright install chromiumusing ComfyUI's Python. The typography node registers without Chromium; rendering requires it. - A2V generation: install the separate
comfyui-minimax-h3-audio-T8integration and compatible H3 model files. The other components do not need H3 or its weights. - Precise Puppet Face tracking: optional ONNX runtime and separately supplied face models; the approximate fallback remains available.
- Advanced slideshow framing: optional dependencies are in
requirements-advanced.txt. - WhisperX alignment and Typort stem separation: optional integrations; see the respective component references. Lyrics have an explicitly documented even-timing fallback.
Each component loads independently. A missing optional dependency is logged and does not prevent unrelated components from loading. No models or Chromium are downloaded automatically during startup.

Updates and new nodes
Use Manager to update MSCH Nodes, then restart ComfyUI. All components update together. New nodes are added inside this repository and released under the same Registry package. See CONTRIBUTING.md for the component layout and release checklist.
Examples and validation
The showcase includes 33 videos, 62 images, five project/render records and 20 supplied API workflows, organized by component. Earlier procedural examples remain available as well. API workflows need the source inputs and model selections described in their setup notes.
The unified pack was loaded through ComfyUI's actual custom-node loader: all 35 node IDs registered under one package, all 15 components loaded, and the six component frontends were registered through one bootstrap. A procedural render and the migration/failure-isolation tests passed. See VALIDATION.md for the scope of verification.
License
Node code uses MIT. Component license notices, bundled font/icon licenses and media notes are retained in their folders. Optional models keep their own licenses.
