ComfyUI-Clip-Text-Encode-Camera-Movements

A CLIP text encoder with 17 cinematic camera movement presets (dolly, pan, tilt, zoom, orbit and more). Each movement comes in two flavors — Subject-Aware (camera follows the subject) and Natural Movement (camera moves freely) — plus an Experimental Mix mode that combines both for unique compound shots.

📺 Demo

💡 A note on the demos: The prompts used in the demo videos are intentionally minimal (e.g., "a woman next to a window"). This is on purpose — to showcase the camera movement itself without the prompt influencing or competing with the camera behavior. Each clip plays the Subject-Aware version on the left and the Natural Movement version on the right, side by side.

🧪 Experimental Mix Demos

These clips show what happens when you set the Camera Mode slider to 0.5 and combine a Subject-Aware movement with a Natural Movement at the same time. Results are intentionally unpredictable — sometimes the model produces beautiful compound shots, sometimes something unexpected.

🛠️ Installation

Option 1 — ComfyUI-Manager (recommended)

1. Open ComfyUI-Manager
2. Click Custom Nodes Manager
3. Search for comfyui-alikonfilms
4. Click Install
5. Restart ComfyUI

Option 2 — Manual install

1. Navigate to your ComfyUI/custom_nodes/ folder
2. Clone this repo:

   git clone https://github.com/alikonfilms/comfyui_alikonfilms.git
   

3. Restart ComfyUI

🎛️ How to Use

Concatenate slider

Controls how the user prompt and the camera movement description are combined:

Camera Mode slider

The slider label updates dynamically as you change the value:

| Value | Label | Behavior | |-------|-------|----------| | 0 | Subject Aware | The view repositions to keep the subject in frame at all times | | 0.5 | Experimental Mix 🧪 | Combines both subject-aware and natural movement prompts | | 1 | Natural Movement | The view moves as described, regardless of the subject |

🧪 About Experimental Mix

Setting the slider to 0.5 activates Experimental Mix, which sends both the subject-aware and the natural-movement descriptions to the model at the same time. You can pick the same camera movement in both dropdowns, or mix two different ones — for example, Pan Left subject-aware + Tilt Down natural — to get unique compound shots.

Results vary: sometimes you get amazing hybrid camera behavior, sometimes the model produces something unexpected. It's intentionally open-ended — meant for adventurous experimentation.
