Load Image ALT is a ComfyUI image loader with recursive input-folder browsing and clipboard paste support. It inherits ComfyUI's core image and mask loading behavior.

When one Load Image ALT node is selected, pasting an image replaces its selected image. Pasting on an empty canvas creates a Load Image ALT node. If another node is selected, ALT leaves the paste event for that node or its extension. Clipboard images are saved to the root of ComfyUI/input with timestamped filenames; core Load Image is unchanged.

Install

Clone https://github.com/DHan315/Comfyui-DHan-Load-Image-ALT into ComfyUI/custom_nodes, then restart ComfyUI and hard-refresh the browser.

Use

Select a Load Image ALT node and paste an image to replace its image. Deselect all nodes before pasting to create a new Load Image ALT node. Images in nested ComfyUI/input folders also appear in its image menu.

The LoadImageALT node ID replaces the older local LoadImageVD ID; workflows using the old ID need to be updated.
